What is the Enneagram?
The Enneagram is an amazing personality tool with roots in ancient wisdom which joins together psychology and spirituality to help us understand our true self – our ‘Essential Nature’. It describes the nine basic human personality types and gives us a map to help us navigate these structures with wisdom, allowing us to release our defences and cultivate presence and peace. Used in conjunction with mindful awareness it allows us to identify the repeated thought and behaviour patterns in our personality type that prevent us from reaching our full potential as a human being. The Enneagram is also very useful in helping us to understand the many dimensions of both our personal and professional relationships.
Typing Interviews - discover your type
For some people, their personality type is very obvious the first time they learn about the Enneagram. For others it is less clear and it can be a journey of a few months or even years of discovery. If you are unsure what your type and/or subtype is, Bernadette can facilitate a ‘Typing Interview’ with you to help narrow it down.
You will be asked a series of questions about your life and your perceptions of yourself as she helps you determine which is most likely your primary type and subtype in the Enneagram system.

Enneagram Guidance Sessions
Once we make the decision to journey through life with conscious awareness of our Enneagram type, it is extremely helpful to have a knowledgeable guide to walk beside us. As we begin to dismantle our defence systems (which kept us safe in childhood), we need an alternative way of being to adopt instead or we can feel very lost, vulnerable and confused.
Bernadette has accompanied many people on their Enneagram journeys over the years. She is skilled at compassionately pointing out blind spots and defence mechanisms which keep people stuck in unhelpful patterns, and then guiding them to find alternative ways to approach their lives, leading to greater freedom and ease.
